AEC ARENA ’26 – Sports Day Celebration 
After two months of dedicated preparation, practice sessions, and various sports events, Annapoorana Engineering College (Autonomous) proudly celebrated AEC ARENA ’26 – Sports Day with great enthusiasm, energy, and true sporting spirit. The event was a grand celebration of fitness, teamwork, determination, and excellence, bringing together students, faculty, and management in a vibrant atmosphere of motivation and achievement.
We were highly honoured to have Ms. Priyanka Bhargav, IPS, Assistant Superintendent of Police – Training, Salem, as the Chief Guest for the occasion. She officially inaugurated the Sports Day and inspired the gathering with her motivating address. In her speech, she emphasized the importance of sports in shaping an individual’s personality by developing discipline, confidence, leadership, teamwork, resilience, and a balanced lifestyle. Her words encouraged our students to actively participate in sports and understand the value of perseverance and hard work both on and off the field.
The celebration was marked by a series of exciting competitions and athletic events that showcased the strength, talent, and sportsmanship of our students. The playground was filled with cheers, enthusiasm, and vibrant energy as students participated wholeheartedly in various track and field events, team games, and sporting activities. Each event reflected the true spirit of competition, unity, and fair play, creating unforgettable moments throughout the day.
The event concluded on a proud and memorable note, celebrating the winners and participants who displayed remarkable dedication and passion. AEC ARENA ’26 truly reflected the spirit of champions and reinforced the importance of physical fitness and sports in student life.
We express our heartfelt gratitude to our Management, Principal, faculty members, sports coordinators, and student volunteers for their continuous support and efforts in making this grand celebration a remarkable success. Special appreciation to all the students for their enthusiastic participation and commitment, which made the event lively and inspiring.
