"Wellness Begins with a Single Step”

The Trekking Club of Annapoorana Engineering College (AEC) was established with the aim of encouraging students to explore nature, develop physical fitness, and cultivate a spirit of adventure and teamwork. The club provides opportunities for students to experience the beauty of nature while promoting environmental awareness and healthy lifestyles.

Vision

To inspire and enable individuals to connect with nature, challenge themselves physically and mentally and foster a deep appreciation for the environment and sustainable adventure.

Mission

To organize safe, inclusive, and enriching trekking experiences that promote teamwork, physical fitness, and respect for nature, while encouraging students to step beyond their comfort zones and build lasting memories and friendships.

Exploration & Adventure

The Trekking Club organizes trekking expeditions to nearby hills, forests, and natural landscapes. These activities help students improve their endurance, confidence, and leadership skills while fostering a strong sense of discipline and responsibility. Trekking also helps students relieve academic stress and connect with nature.

Environmental Awareness

The club conducts regular activities such as trekking trips, nature walks, adventure camps, and awareness programs on environmental conservation. During these treks, students learn about biodiversity, wildlife protection, and the importance of preserving natural ecosystems.
