Leader’s Connect ’26 | Bridging Academia and Industry
Annapoorana Engineering College (Autonomous), Salem, in association with the ICT Academy, successfully organized Leader’s Connect ’26, an inspiring and impactful event that brought together over 1,000 students for a day of learning, leadership, and future-focused engagement.
The event served as a dynamic platform to bridge the gap between academia and industry, enabling students to gain valuable insights into emerging skill requirements, evolving hiring practices, and future career opportunities. It emphasized the importance of continuous upskilling, adaptability, and practical exposure in today’s rapidly changing professional landscape.
The program was graced by the presence of distinguished dignitaries and industry experts including N. V. Chandrasekar, N. Subramanian, and A. Anbuchezian, whose leadership and vision added great value to the event.
The sessions featured eminent speakers and professionals such as Shashikanth Jayaraman, B. S. Srinivas, Narendra Gopal, G. Saravanan, N. Lakshminarasimhan, S. G. Vignesh, Pramod Najundaswamy, Aravind Dhandapani, Shanmuga Sundaram, Sridhar Thiruppathi, and Ethiraj, who shared their expertise and industry perspectives.
The sessions covered a wide spectrum of emerging domains including Artificial Intelligence, Quantum Computing, Gaming, Animation, and UI/UX Design, providing students with a clear understanding of future career pathways and industry expectations.
The interactions were highly engaging and thought-provoking, sparking curiosity, boosting confidence, and encouraging students to align their academic learning with real-world industry needs.
