This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions governing refunds and cancellations related to admissions, fees, and other payments made to Annapoorana Engineering College (AEC) through its website or official payment channels.
1. Admission Fee Refund Policy
- Admission fees once paid are subject to refund only as per the rules and regulations prescribed by the affiliating university, AICTE, Government authorities, and AEC management.
- Refund requests must be submitted in writing along with relevant supporting documents.
- Refunds, if applicable, will be processed after deducting applicable administrative or processing charges.
2. Cancellation of Admission
- Students seeking cancellation of admission must submit a formal written request to the college administration.
- Admission cancellation will be effective only after approval by the competent authority.
Refund eligibility will depend on:
- Date of cancellation request
- Academic calendar stage
- Regulatory authority guidelines in force at the time
3. Fee Payment Refunds (Online / Offline)
- Fees paid towards tuition, hostel, transport, examination, or other services are generally non-refundable, unless otherwise specified by AEC or mandated by regulatory authorities.
- In case of duplicate payment or technical error during online transactions, students may request a refund with proof of payment.
4. Processing Time for Refunds
- Approved refunds will be processed within 15–30 working days from the date of approval.
- Refunds will be credited through the original mode of payment wherever possible.

- Application or registration fees
- Processing or administrative charges
- Fees paid for services already availed
- Late fee penalties or fines
6. Force Majeure
AEC shall not be held responsible for refund delays or inability to process refunds due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government regulations, technical failures, or legal restrictions.
