The Inauguration of the “Rotaract Club of Annapoorana Engineering College” was successfully conducted on 07.12.2020 Monday at 11.00 a.m. Annapoorana Engineering College and The Rotary Club of Salem Elite made a joint effort in planting miyawaki method forestation as over 500 saplings in and around the college campus. Prior to the tree plantation function was held, in which Mr.sundharam, President, Salem Rotary Club and other members of Salem Rotary Club participated. Dr.T.Tholkapiyaarasu, chairman, Rotaract Club Salem, was the Chief Guest.
Earlier Mr.sundharam, President, Salem Rotary Club, welcomed the gathering. In his welcome address he threw light on the unforgettable relationship between nature and human beings, the greatness of various trees and the importance given by Dr.APJ Kalam’s Dream Project as tree plantation and environmental protection. He also appreciated the members of the Rotary club and assured them of the utmost co-operation by Annapoorana Engineering College.
