Department of Electrical and Electrical Engineering was started in the year of 2010 with an intake of 60. The Department has been playing a vital role in producing scientist and technologist. All the faculty of our department are highly qualified and their remarkable teaching experienced are committed to achieve excellence in academic programmes and has good record of journal publications in National and International level.

The department is fully equipped with latest systems and apparatus in the Electrical machines, Power Electronics, Control Systems, Power System Simulation, Embedded Systems, Measurements and Instrumentation laboratories. Renewable Energy System Laboratory The mission of the department is to produce highly competent Electrical and Electronics Engineers with a sound knowledge in all the areas concerning the discipline.

The students of Electrical and Electronics Engineering association organize a National level Technical symposium to motivate the students in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. The Department periodically conducts several workshops with industry people, Guest lecturers with industry experts, Value added courses and Training programs for students to improve their technical skills.

The department was signed 11 MoUs with Industries like General Electrical and Electronics Solutions , Mas Solar Systems Private Limited, Sri Maruthi Electronics , Skray Power System, CADD Centre, Megawin Switch Gear Private Limited , Prolific Systems & Technology Private Limited, Microsun Technology, Live wire, Kronos Infotech, IPCS Global Solutions PVT Ltd.

 I am extremely happy to share with you through this website about the progress made by the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

The significant infrastructural design, well-equipped laboratories, hi-tech computers with high-speed internet facility, highly qualified, dedicated faculty and staff of EEE ensure world-class standard of education delivered from our department.

The department faculties are committed to teach our students the fundamental concepts and the latest trends via smart teaching and learning process. In addition to ICT enabled smart classroom with Wifi facility , the students are guided and motivated to practically through experiments in the laboratories and through innovative projects.

The department conducts various workshops, Skill Development programs and Invited talks by Industry Experts & Alumni in collaboration with industries for the benefit of faculty and students. The student projects are conducted guidance of department faculty and industrial trainers. Industrial visits are regularly organized by the department. Students are also encouraged to participate in various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
