About COE

The UGC has granted autonomy status for our institution from the academic year 2022- The “Controller of Examinations” section has been constituted with effect from 17.08.2022. The office of the Controller of Examinations undertakes the responsibility of student’s evaluation.

The role of the office of Controller of Examinations is to:

Conduct fair and timely examinations as per the academic schedule of the Institute for all the programmes. Appoint examiners for setting of Question papers and evaluation for theory courses. Constitute Examination Committee for Practical / Project evaluation. Compile grades, and declare results after approval by Result Passing Board (RPB). Sending a list of successful candidates with their Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) to the Anna university, Chennai for issuing Provisional and Degree Certificates. In addition to the above, the COE’s office issues certified transcripts to students, verifies  the genuineness of grade sheets / certificates issued by the Institute, and conducts Graduation Day at the end of academic year.
