The department of Civil Engineering was started in 2010. The department offers a full time B.E course in Civil Engineering & has a team of well qualified and highly experienced faculty members with rich academic and industrial experience in various frontiers engineering and technology areas such as Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering and Management, Environmental Engineering etc. The department has well equipped State-of-art-laboratory like Material Testing, Soil Testing, Surveying, Environmental & Hydraulic Laboratories etc.,

The department also has its own Civil Engineers society which is dedicated to organizing lectures by various experts in the respective field. So that these would be a holistic all round development of the student.

The students of the department are dedicated to work based on the current needs of the industry and have the ability to improve their expertise in the field of Civil Engineering. Many of our alumnus holds prestigious positions in Leading Companies & Government Sectors all over India.

A warm greetings to the budding Civil Engineers. Civil Engineering is termed as mother of Engineering of all disciplines. This discipline deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including public works such as roads, bridges, canals, dams, airports, sewerage systems, pipelines, structural components of buildings, and railways. There are several career paths for civil engineers. Civil engineers are required in government agencies, private and public sector undertakings to take up various big projects like metro railway projects, express highway corridors, industrial structures, reservoir projects, flyovers, townships and mega city projects. Now, the world is undergoing vast changes in technological revolution, population growth and environmental concerns. All these changes create distinctive challenges for civil engineers. Knowing the greatness of this department you students must work smart with enthusiasm to raise the standard of our motherland.
