Academic and Administrative Audit
Academic and Administrative Audit (AAA) is a system to control and maintain high standards in the field of Higher Education. It is a continuous process of self-introspection for the better growth of the institution. There is a general opinion that academic audit is just the teacher evaluation and the final result of the students. But Academic auditing is an institutional practice that understands and reviews the existing system and assess the strengths and weaknesses of the Departments and Administrative Units and to suggest the methods for improvement and for overcoming the weaknesses.
Annapoorana Engineering college conducts Academic and Administrative Audit once in every semester. The Internal Quality Assurance Cell arranges for Inter-departmental audit headed by senior faculty members of the college. The AAA Format is well-structured and covers all major areas of Teaching-Learning processes. The AAA is analyzed to bring about continuous growth and development of the Institution.
CONDUCT OF VALUE-ADDED COURSES, CERTIFICATE COURSES AND VOCATIONAL EDUCATION TRAINING
Annapoorana Engineering College conducts Value-Added Courses, Certificate Courses and Vocational Educational Training Courses as part of co-curricular activities. The courses are conducted with 30 or more contact hours. The courses are well-structured and scheduled by the Academic committee and submitted to IQAC for approval. IQAC discusses about the courses in the IQAC Meeting minutes, verifies the content and gives approval for the conduct of the courses. The course contents are framed to suit the needs of upcoming engineering students. To bring about betterments in the courses and to know about the beneficiaries, feedback are collected from the students at the end of the courses.
